Robbie Williams in Moscow

Robbie Williams

I went to a Robbie Williams concert in Moscow, expecting a guilty pleasure kind of event. It turned out to be anything but. Let’s be honest: the show was brilliant. Robbie swore like a sailor, performed all the major hits (including Supreme and Road to Mandalay—staples of my early 2000s personal soundtrack), donned a skirt, and even brought his dad on stage for a duet.

But there’s not much point in dissecting a Robbie Williams concert—it’s exactly what you’d expect: loud, cheeky, and thoroughly entertaining. The real surprise was the opening act: Baskery, a Swedish trio of sisters who were my unexpected musical discovery of the season. They’ve got everything—a double bass, sharp harmonies, and an irresistible energy that hooked the crowd. If you haven’t heard them yet, you’re missing out.
